forkastLooking for a Mealime alternative?
Forkast keeps the part you liked, a weekly plan and one shopping list, and adds a weekly budget and prices at the store you actually shop at.
What's happening to Mealime
According to Mealime's closing notice, the app shuts down on October 21, 2026. Albertsons Companies, which bought Mealime in 2021, is moving users to Meals Hub inside its grocery store apps. Pro features are free for everyone until the shutdown, and personal data is deleted when the app closes.
If you shop at an Albertsons store such as Safeway, Albertsons, Vons or Jewel-Osco, Meals Hub may suit you. If you shop at Walmart, Kroger, Aldi, Costco, Target or elsewhere, Forkast works with your store.
